Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has confirmed that the facelifted Haval H6 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) will soon receive Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support through a software update scheduled for October 15, 2025.
Pakistan was the first country outside China to receive the updated H6 PHEV earlier this year, a move driven by strong local demand. However, at launch, the model lacked these popular smartphone connectivity options—something that drew criticism from some buyers.
The company has now assured customers that the update won’t just apply to new deliveries but will also roll out to all facelifted H6 PHEVs already on the road. This means current owners won’t be left behind once the update goes live.
Sazgar also clarified that other Haval models sold in Pakistan, apart from the facelifted H6 PHEV, already support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The omission in the plug-in hybrid was temporary and is now being addressed.
In its statement, the automaker thanked customers for their patience, adding that the upcoming upgrade reflects its commitment to meeting expectations in a competitive SUV market where tech features have become just as important as performance and efficiency.
