TPL Trakker Breaks Into Africa With Fuel-Tech Deal in Chad
TPL Trakker Limited has officially stepped into the African market through a major new contract in Chad. The Pakistani telematics and IoT solutions company revealed that its subsidiary, Trakker Middle East LLC, has signed an agreement with SOCIETE “SEBIT” SARL to deploy IoT-powered fuel monitoring systems across the Central African nation.
The announcement was made in a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, highlighting a pivotal moment for the company as it expands beyond its established Middle Eastern operations.
A Strategic Leap Beyond the Middle East
Trakker has built its reputation in Pakistan and the Gulf region through vehicle tracking, fleet management, and IoT-driven solutions. The Chad project represents its first commercial footprint in Africa, a market the company views as ripe for innovation in logistics and fuel efficiency technology.
“This is the first project of its kind for us in Africa and a key milestone in our global growth strategy,” Trakker stated.
Why Africa Matters for IoT Expansion
Africa’s energy and logistics sectors are increasingly turning to technology to combat fuel theft, improve efficiency, and streamline fleet operations. By bringing IoT-powered fuel monitoring into Chad, TPL Trakker is betting on a broader push into emerging markets where digital infrastructure is catching up rapidly.
Industry observers see this move as a sign of Pakistan’s tech players looking outward for growth opportunities, targeting regions where demand for smart fleet solutions is growing but competition remains relatively low.
With this deal, Trakker has set its sights on becoming more than just a regional telematics player, positioning itself as a global solutions provider in an industry projected to expand sharply over the next decade.
