Captain Zeeshan Malik and Umair Masood struck half-centuries as two-time champions Pakistan defeated by 110 runs in their opening game.
Malik made 83 off 85 balls while Umair hit 59 off 36 as Pakistan managed 291-7 in their stipulated 50 overs after being asked to bat first.
Nepal, in reply, could manage to reach 181-9.
For Pakistan, Sameen Gul, Saif Ali, Shadab Khan and Arsal Sheikh all bagged two wickets apiece.
Three-time champions India, meanwhile, thrashed Canada by 372 runs in their first warm-up game.
Captain Ishan Kishan hit 138 off 86 balls not out while Ricky Bhui struck an unbeaten 115 off 71 balls as India posted a mammoth 483-5 after electing to bat first.
Mahipal Lomror (62 off 37), Rishabh Pant (55 off 23) and Sarfraz Khan (48 off 36) also made useful contributions for India.
Canada, in reply, were bundled out for 113 in the 32nd over, with leg-spinner Mahipal Lomror claiming three wickets for 19 runs.
Pakistan will start their World Cup campaign against Afghanistan in Sylhet on January 28 while India will take on Ireland in their tournament-opener in Dhaka on the same day.
