Interim Sindh Cabinet Sworn in

Seventeen Member caretaker cabinet sworn in today at Governor’s House Karachi. Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad administered oath. Cabinet members started working in Pakistani style as they were scheduled to visit Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum after the oath. However, visit was cancelled at the eleventh hour. Senior police officials including DG were deployed at the Quid’s mausoleum to ensure maximum protection for the new rulers of the province.

Members of cabinet include eminent drama writer Noorul Huda Shah, Junaid Shah who is Son of former sports minister Muhammad Ali Shah, Saqib Qureshi, Nawab Qalb Hussain Lahori, M Shareef Ansari, Sardar Khan Ghoto, Mehmood Mandvi Wala, Rais Ghulam Qasim Jasqani, Sardar Yaseen Malik, Anees Haroon, Khalid Latif, Abdul Qadir Chohan, Shehr Zaidi, Khalid Tawwab and Dr NK Lohana.

Principle of non-partisan and neutrality has not been followed ten ministers are nominated by Pakistan People’s Party while remaining seven are recommended by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
