Taliban Greet Musharraf with Assasination Threat


ISLAMABAD: Banned militant outfit Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan has threatened to assassinate former president Pervez Musharraf upon his arrival in the country. Former head of state has announced to end his self-opted four year exile and return to Pakistan on Monday 24, 2013.

Talking to different media houses from undisclosed location, TTP spokesman Ehsanuallah Ahsan said that death squad under supervision of Adnan Rasheed has been formed and trained to eliminate Pervez Musharraf.

“Suicide bombers are being trained and assigned to assassinate Musharraf” Ahsan said.

Adnan Rasheed is former employee of Pakistan Air Force who is mastermind of a previous assassination attempt on Musharraf in December 2003. He was arrested and convicted by a field general court martial. He was serving his sentence in District Jail Bannu until April 15, 2012. On April 15, 2012 Taliban launched an attack on Bannu Jail helped Adnan Rasheed escape with them.

Pakistan has entered into election process and it is expected that Taliban will launch deadly attacks to sabotage elections. Some news anchors has reported about passing out parade of 125 suicide bombers.
