Karachi: Lollywood actress Meera has expressed dismay over her recent video sex scandal, saying the video clips were morphed and she don’t want to discuss them.
Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Meera said she is consulting with her counsel and a legal notice will be served to the fabricators of fake video scandal. However, didn’t reveal that to whom the court notice will be issued.
Earlier this month, back-to-back objectionable videos of the actress leaked online, showing the actress getting intimate with her ex-fiancée Naveed Pravaiz, a Pakistani-American airline captain.
The actress said the sex scandal is the succession of conspiracies being hatched against her since she has started the construction of charity hospital in her mother’s name in Haroonabad but whatever the conspirators do, they can’t deviate her from the mission to complete her project.
Meera implored inhabitants of Karachi to donate to her hospital, which she said will be of international standard where less privileged patients will get supervision of US doctors, medications and access to state-of-the-art technology free of charge.
Speaking about her forthcoming movie ‘Hotel’, Meera said it will be the first psychological thriller movie in Pakistan. She said the story of Hotel is starkly different from the traditional Lollywood movies and it will be promoted in several countries, including Pakistan and India.
