Screaming fans outnumbered shouting protestors at her arrival. Nearly 100 protestors demonstrated outside the shopping center call “The Walk in Manama”. Police dispersed protestors with stun grenades.
Interior of shopping mall gave entirely different look. Almost one thousand affluent fans paid up to 500 Bahraini dinars to welcome MTV celebrity Kim Kardashian. They broke out in overexcited yells as Kardashian arrived.
Sponsors have issued tickets in different categories to give fans an opportunity to interact with Kim Kardashian. Three types of tickets are on sale i.e. Diamond, Gold and Silver. Holders of diamond tickets will have opportunity to accompany Kim Kardashian right from her arrival till close of the ceremony. Diamond tickets are very few in number and are not on public sale.
Gold and silver tickets are on public sale and are available at The Walk in Manama, Bahrain City Centre, Seef Mall and Bahrain International Airport, from 10am until 10pm. Gold tickets are priced at BD500 and holders will have chance to get up-close-and-personal with Kardashian and pose for pictures.
Gold ticket holders will also be entitled for VIP Gold Parking, a specially created Gold Entrance and admission to the Golden Circle.
Silver tickets will cost BD50, and holders will have chance to attend three-hour launching ceremony, See Kim Kardashian live and enjoy and enjoy performances by international artists.
Kim Kardashian enjoying in Bahrain
Kim Kardashian appeared unaware of protests upon her arrival in the city. She kept contact with her fans through social networking sites like Instagram and twitter. She posted a video of her addressing fans in Bahrain.
“Fans in the Kingdom of Bahrain, it’s Kim Kardashian and I am so excited to see your beautiful city. I have never been to the Kingdom of Bahrain before and I just can’t wait to meet you all when I come for Millions of Milkshakes. I’m so excited,” Kim Kardashian said.
She also tweeted
“Such a fun day in Bahrain,” she said. “Thanks Sheikh Khalifa for your amazing hospitality. I’m in love with The Kingdom of Bahrain.”
