JI Announces to Withdraw all Candidates in Karachi and Hyderabad

Karachi: Jamat-i-Islami has announced to withdraw all its candidates from Karachi and Hyderabad after reports of massive rigging in different areas of Karachi. Chief of Jamat-i-Islami (JI) announced this decision addressing a crowded press conference along with his other colleagues in Karachi.  Polling could not be started till 1PM in different areas of Karachi. Many other parties like JUP and Majlis Wahdat-i-Muslimeen has also announced to boycott on similar reasons.

Media continuously reported about absence of staff and polling material on many polling stations but Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) could not take corrective measures.
